What is the weather like in the Ionian? |

From June to September you can expect temperatures on land to be between 28C to 34C during the day and between 22C and 26C at night, so pack lightly. Days are sunny and nights are clear.
May and October are less predictable. Daytime temperatures are comfortable, but you will need a jumper and long trousers for evenings and light waterproof clothing for the odd shower.
The wind in the Ionian is very predictable in direction and strength during most of the summer. From June to September it blows from the North West, arriving at around noon, becoming Force 3 to 5 (10 to 25knots) and dying down as sunset approaches. Conditions during May and October are less predictable, with Southerly winds and the odd shower reminding us of the changing seasons.
