Destination Nydri, Lefkas
About Nydri
Set in a sheltered location with views across to Skorpios (the Greek Island once owned by Aristotle Onassis), Nydri is the largest resort on the island of Lefkas. A lively town and harbour with tavernas spread out along the sea front giving a beautiful view across Tranquil Bay, very popular with sailing yachts. Nydri is a very popular overnight stay for those on bareboat or skippered sailing holidays. If you would like a change from sailing for a day, there are some pleasant walks to be found here, especially one to the spring and waterfall which supplies water to Nydri.

Pilotage
Approach is busy, but straightforward. Moor berth stern or bows-to on the town quay, avoiding the area for ferries and tripper boats.

Yacht Facilities and Provisions
Everything you can be bought in the main street, water is available on the quay and fuel can be delivered.

Yacht Sailing Conditions
This is a great Ionian cruising area for yachts, sailing in and amongst the nearby islands. Great for those looking for short journeys with lots of stop-off options..

Eating Out
A walk along the harbour will provide you with a wide choice of restaurants serving traditional Greek dishes and fresh fish meals.
